Synopsis

Based on the original Shield comic by Archie Comics, this series chronicles the continuing adventures of Lancelot Strong, better known to the free world as the Shield. The product of childhood experiments meant to tap the unused portion of the human brain the Shield possesses super strength, super speed, super-human toughness, the ability to generate electricity, and the ability to increase his body temperature to the point of melting solid objects. Now a Captain in the U.S. Army, Lancelot continues his efforts to defend the country from the forces of evil at home and abroad.
